    Apparently in New York City your sex is just a word much like age is just a number. Say you were born with dude parts, but you like other dudes and consider yourself a woman. You may soon be able to change your birth certificate in NYC to read that you are indeed a woman. Maybe they will now make you carry around your birth certificate and have BC checkers at restrooms.
