Border Patrol Agent Update
Sunday, August 27, 2006
*****Updated********
The sentencing for the two Border Patrol agents facing 20 years in prison for shooting a Mexican with 700+ pounds of pot has been delayed until Sep 18. The petition that you hopefully signed has gone to the lawyer for one of the agents and also to the White House. Hopefully, the President will get some time in between dealing with the nutjobs of the world like Kim Jon Small Dong and the Islamofascists to consider a pardon.
Dianne Feinstein, a Democratic U.S. Senator from California, wrote a letter to Arlen Specter asking for a Judiciary hearing on the matter. If we can't get our government represenatives to agree that this case is bogus, we might as well just make Spanish our official language and get annexed into Mexico.link to letter
August 17, 2006 transcript of a Judiciary hearing held in El Paso, TX in front of the Honorable F. James Sensenbrenner. Andy Ramirez, the Chairman of the Friends of the Border Patrol organization talkes about the case on pages 41-50
