Should Our President Be 'Present'?

    I keep thinking of Barack Obama as an empty suit. I don't think he really stands for much unless someone tells him what to stand for. Maybe a more accurate description would be "present", in reference to his appreciation for that neutral vote he liked to cast while in the Illinois legislature.
