RI ACLU Chapter Sues RI Police

    An American Civil Liberties Union chapter in Rhode Island is suing the Rhode Island state police alleging they used racial discrimination during a traffic stop to detain the occupants of the vehicle. Here's what appears to have happened using my own imagination based on this article.

Police see van changing lanes without turn signal
Police pull over van
Police take drivers license and registration of driver
Police notice that there are 14 people in the van.
Police realize most of them don't speak English.
Police use common sense to come to the conclusion that they might be illegals
Police ask for identification from van occupants using van driver as interpretor
Most of occupants can't produce identification
Police lead van to Immigration Office

    Funny, the only thing I see wrong with this is the lawsuit.
