Here's a link to the list of all the nominees and winners for the '07 Webby Awards.
Notables:
HowStuffWorks.com--won for Best Copy/Writing. Awesome, interesting articles.
The Best Practices category is filled with essential sites. Flickr is a wonderful phot sharing site. Del.icio.us is awesome for bookmarking pages and being able to access them from anywhere. Facebook is of course the best social networking site around.Digg is an awesome site for news. Last.fm is an awesome internet radio service where you pick what you like and it plays songs according to your tastes, although I think I like Pandora better for my internet radio.
I really don't understand how LinkedIn could have beaten Facebook out in the social networking category.

MO House Fair Tax Act of 2007
Wednesday, May 09, 2007
Edgar Emery (R) is sponsoring a bill in the Missouri House of Representatives that would require the Missouri Department of Revenue to develop plans to implement a state sales tax in place of state income taxes. Awesome idea.

What I'm Reading Now
Wednesday, January 24, 2007
I was going through old posts and figured I should post about what I am reading now
Excavation by James Rollins
--The ""Cloud People" of Peru have been in the news lately (go here if you didn't know that). James Rollins wrote a book about them in 2000. It's a good read
Tyranny of Tolerance by Robert Dierker
--A darn good read. I didn't realize how nuts some judges were. Read the chapter on abortion and justify to me why something that heinous isn't considered murder.
